If you live in or hang out in Brooklyn and are an artist or know any, then you know that today kicks off Bushwick Open Studios. Spaces open their doors to the public with over 500 shows that range anywhere from performances, finely curated shows or just artists sharing their studios and throwing parties—anything goes and it’s wonderful.
The Jeffersonian, curated by Jonathan Phelps, will be hosting another rooftop extravaganza all weekend long with a ton of artists, some of which you’ve seen at our shows—like Sherry Aliberti (who is performing twice at BOS!) and Evan Leed.
Fellow curator and artist Kelly Worman will be opening her studio with fellow artists Polly Shindler, Will Hutnick, Caitlin Peluffo and Nikki Nolan.
And finally check out our old haunt on Johnson Ave. at the Mattress Factory for “Home Is Where The Art Is” with Jared Williams, Lala Montoya and others.
